Do all dictatorial capitals fall in the same way?

Yon has lost his mind. Again.
I’m not going to link to it here, but Michael Yon just posted to Line of Departure (I’m sure you’re all familiar with it) with a about a dozen detailed pictures of dead Afghans (presumably Taliban) titled “Battlefield Forensics.” Not even so much as a warning that the pictures are quite gory and probably not safe for work according to most employers’ standards....

Anyone following the SDSR business in the UK could see this coming. Although I don’t think anyone thought the folly of their defense cuts would be proven so soon as they were in Libya. To reiterate a question I posed when the report came out: should America begin looking elsewhere for a special relationship? Or can the UK and rest of Europe become as reliable as we’d like and need?

How is this clown not getting a court martial? He committed a number of violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to say nothing of the going AWOL. Sounds like the Air Force was trying to get this guy out of their hair.
